Question:

Contact Lens Solution question....?

I have been having a battle with wearing my contact lenses and now that I have changed my makeup, clean my eyes real good in the evening, and use allergy eye drops, I still have one more problem to resolve. I have been using Clear Care and the case is too small for my toric soft lenses, so I need to swtich back to another type of cleaner. I have dry eyes, and Opti Free, and Renu are both drying cleansers for me. Price is not a problem, I just want something that works good. What do you suggest. I looked up other questions and all the answers say the ones that don't work for me

  1. I would recommend you contacting your doctor.  Are you sure that it's not the brand of contacts that is causing your eyes to dry out?  With me, I ended up switching contact brands for the simple fact that I had allergies and my contacts stayed dry in my eyes.

And some just suggested using Complete Moisture, it's still on voluntary recall because I just sent back my solution.

  2. why dont you just use a different contact case with the clear care?

  3. Have you tried Complete?  I used to use it back in the day and never had problems with it.

  4. I would suggest talking to your doctor to see about different options of contact lenses.  Proclear toric lenses are approved for dry eye and Acuvue Oasys (also good for dryness) recently came out with a toric contact lens.

I am surprised to hear about the case for clear care not fitting your contact lenses.  It's rather large and I've never heard of that happening.

    Good luck

  5. ReNu is actually good. Toric lenses is dry and u migh want to try out the refresh plus eye drop. They are great for lenses
