Contact dermatitis question?

hi, i have contact dermatitis in my fingers although im usually clear of it and i do every thing i can to prevent it sometimes i get it back my question is that if i apply a cream say a moisturizer to my face with my fingers and i have dermatitis on my fingers will the dermatitis pass on to my face? does that happend? thank you!

  1. No, it doesn't happen that way.  Contact Dermatitis is caused by a separate substance.  It could be soaps, detergents or certain metals.  Sometimes even creams and lotions can cause it.  It cannot be spread to other parts of your body simply by touching with an infected part.
