  1. you might have scratched your cornea.  this hurts like ****.  first try rinsing out your eyes with contact solution, and if it still hurts then lie down and close your eyes for 20-30 minutes.  this is enough time for a scratch to heal (at least to the point where it won't hurt so much).

  2. Blink a few times or wash your eyes with a little water or eye drops.

If it's still there it could be a small indentation or imprint of the contact lense.

If it continues, check in with an optometrist or your normal doctor!

  3. If you have rinsed your eye and still have the problem... you may have a papillary reaction.  They are little bumps under your eye lid cause by contact lens wear.  The reason you feel them AFTER you take your contacts out is because your lenses act like a barrier between the bumps and your cornea.  Once removed, these bumps cause irritation to the cornea.  In the mean time, use a COLD compress...it helps with the inflammation/

Best advice, go to your eye doctor to have it checked out!
