Contact help!!!!?

I'm going swimming, but I just got them a few mounths ago, and I wz wondering if I could open my eyes with contacts underwater? Can they fall out in the water? Thanx!!!!

omg pleasee dont open your eyes with contacts on!

it woulddd hurtt like crazyyy!

and the chlorine can like melt them in your eyes.

or yur contacts with get messed up.....

A few girls on my team wear contacts when they swim, but they always wear goggles. On the rare occasion they get splashed in the face while they aren't wearing goggles, their contacts always fall out. If you want to go swimming either take your contacts out, wear goggles, or prepare to have a pool wide search for them. Hope this helped!
