I was very bad with my last pair of contacts. I kept having to go back to the doctor to get my prescription adjusted and, eventually, I gave up. I kept the last trial pair they gave me, and that was the end of it. About 7 months later (10 days ago), I developed a corneal ulcer in my left eye. (I know, I know....serves me right).
In any case, I took drops, the ulcer has healed, and my Dr. met with me Monday to fit me for new contact lenses. He prescribed the same exact lenses I was wearing two weeks ago (Acuvue Oasis, -7.0 and -6.5), so I expected to pop them in and see clearly again. However, as soon as I put them in (when I got home) I realized that something wasn't quite right.
I can't read street signs as well, I definitely can play pool, and even the computer screen is a bit blurry. I went back today and he tried to verify the prescription. He checked my eyes with the contacts in (even though the machine was fogging up b/c it was cold in there), and decided it may be time
