Last night my lense broke as i was removing it from my eye. This has happened me a couple of times over the years i've worn lenses. Usually i am able to remove it all. This time however I think part of it remained. Now my eye is sore and the bottom lid is very swollen. I'm thinking i'll be taking a trip to the Opticians tomorrow. Anybody suffer with this before?

  1. no srry. but good luck ask the doctor

  2. no, if it wasnt soft, maybe its worth trying soft lenses? theyre more breathable and dont break, just rip if abused.

    Good luck xoxo

  3. Break sounds serious, is it the glass type of lense? Most lenses now days are manufactured of a type of plastic, and they tear. Contact lenses have moved to the back of my eye, it takes awhile to work them forward. If it is a glass lense you should see a doctor immediately. If plastic tilt the face down and cry and let the torn portion work forward.
