Contact lense help?

I wear soft contact lenses. The first pair of lenses i got, i had no problems with. but when i switched them out for a new pair, my eyes would be very red and a little irritated. i tried rewetting or lubricating drops, but the redness would stay. can i have some help?

I have been using contact lenses for the last 2 years and yeah, my eyes do get red and irritated much.

It is said that you should use them for less than 10 hrs but its better if you take it out after 8 hrs. Also, in the beginning we take precious care with it but afterwards dont even wash hands sometimes when taking it out. So you need to still do all the cleaning stuff first.

Better if you consult your optician as he will know what steps should be taken. . .

Sometimes that does happen to me...it's usually because they weren't placed properly.  I usually just take them out, rewet them, and put them back in.

Maybe your eyes just need to get used to the new ones.

Don't they say you should wear them for a few hours each day, slowly building up the hours?

Did you not wear contacts for a while?

Or were they a new brand or kind?

I'm not really sure...
