  1. This will ruin your contact lense, but it will work, fill the sink with water and stick your head in and open your eyes underwater. You contact lense will absorb the water and won't be able to stick to your eye anymore, as the surface tension is gone.

  2. i recomend you to visit your optician if you can't get it out because this could lead to an infection.

  3. Keep your eye lubricated with eyedrops.  Call your eye doctor.  I have had contacts rip into two and three pieces and I could not get it out by myself.

  4. I'm not patronising you but, Firstly is the lens definitely still in your eye? People often get the lens out and drop it without noticing, then keep trying to take it out, because they think there vision is blurred because they've been poking there eye. What is your vision in the eye you are worried about like? Is it the same as with or without the lens? If the vision is blurred it might not actually be in there.

If you are sure it is in there then try putting a drop of solution onto your finger and dabbing it onto your eye.... providing you don't use peroxide cleaning system! If you do then use the saline solution. Then, once the eye is moisturised try and remove the lens.

If you've slept in the lens and you are still struggling to get it out then you must go to your optician, if they are closed then A+E is the next option. You need to get the lens out because you are at risk of infections or damaging the eye.

Don't worry, if you are struggling the professionals will not mind you going to them, it does happen sometimes and it's best  to get the lens out as soon as possible.

  5. It is very frustrating and uncomfortable and also potentially dangerous to the eye. Assuming you are dealing with standard lenses, they should not remain in the eye for more than 12 hours. This is because they are only partially oxygen permeable, so leaving them in for longer reduces the supply of oxygen to the eye surface. Worst scenario this can cause avascular necrosis, ( death of eye tissue!) This means you really must get the lens removed, and more than justifies you taking a trip to the local A+E, where they will whip it out in seconds!

  6. The  best you can do is close your eye and gently pat it back into place. It happened to me yesterday and I got really frustrated because my eye started to get red and puffy because I couldn't get my contact out.

Sometimes I take a nap and my contact will just slide back into place(It only works on rare occasions though).

  7. use eye drops its happened to me before i guess its because your eye is dry

  8. i had the same problem

just put some eye drops in cos its dry so stick to ur eye

if u wet it then u can get it out easily

    p.s dont use water
