  1. techinically no...you are not supposed to wear eyeliner if it is on the lid of your eye (on the bottom if you wear it by the root of your eyelashes on the inside if that makes sense)  if you wear eyeliner on the top or on the outside lower than there is no problem, but make sure you wash it off at the end of everyday becuase it can breed bugs in your eye lashes if you don't (that has nothing to do with contacts it is just the truth)  anyway the reason you cannot wear it there is becuase it clogs your oil glands which means you  are not producing moisture for your eyes and they get dry...I however have had contacts for the last 10 years and I have always worn eyeliner there..I just deal with dry eyes!

  2. As a person who wears contacts I cant tell you that wearing eyeliner is not a problem.  Put on your contacts first and than the eyeliner being careful not to touch the contacts with it.

  3. You can still wear it but you may want to tone the eyeliner down a bit cuz if you get any on your contacts it bothers you all day long. Or that is my experience anyway. As for putting it on before or after that is up to you if you put it on before just be sure not to mess it up when you are putting in your contacts.

  4. I've worn contact for 17 years and have never had a problem wearing makeup, including eyeliner.  I sometimes use pencil, sometimes liquid, and am clumsy enough to actually put some my contact about once a month.  It's never bothered me or caused any issues.

I always put my contacts in before putting on my makeup, but that's mainly because I'm blind and don't do a good job of putting on my makeup if I'm not wearing my contacts.  It's also a good idea to put your contacts in first if your eyes water at all when you put them in so you don't smudge your makeup.

  5. You can wear make up. Just make sure you apply it carefully.

Put you contacts in FIRST though, with clean hands. You may want to wait a few moments for your eyes to adjust to the lens. If they feel dry in your eyes, now is the time to add contact wetting eye drops.

If all feels well then apply away (carefully of course!).

Contacts do not equal the death of your make-up. It's a completely normal thing.

  6. check out the link below...it has some good information on what to look for in make up to make sure it will allow comfortable contact lens wear.  put your contact lenses on before you use and lotions or eye makeup.
