  1. first you'll want to do some basic techniques, wash your hands really well and then open your eye, and look to the side gently touching the white of your eye (sclera), that will help with general touching.

    Step1

Wash your hands thoroughly. It's best to allow them to air dry because drying off with a towel could deposit tiny fibers on your hands that will cause problems.

    Step2

Open the right eye lens case and use your index finger to scoop the lens out.

    Step3

Place the lens on your index finger. Rinse the lens carefully with solution. If it folds down, just push it back up with your other index finger. Make sure the lens is right side out. The edges of the lens should curve inward not out.

    Step4

Lift the lens to your eye and use your middle finger to pull down your lower lid. Using the other hand lift the upper eyelid trapping the eyelashes while you lift.

    Step5

Place the contact lens on your eye and release your lower lid. Look down and release upper lid. Blink your eye to adjust the lens.

    Step6

Repeat this process with the left eye. Once finished, clean out the contact case and let air dry.

  2. Wash your hands.  Take the contact out of the case and put it on your right pointer finger.  Hold your lower lid down with your right middle finger.  Hold your upper lid up with your left hand.  Hold them tightly and make sure you can't blink.  Use a mirror to line up your finger in front of your eye.  Look towards your nose and plop the contact on the white part of your eye (sclera).  Slowly look towards the contact and it should stick onto the front of your eye (cornea).  Slowly look around a little bit and then slowly close your eyelid.

    Some tips:

-I take my contact out with my ring finger so my pointer finger and middle finger stay dry.

-If you have a hard time telling if it is right side in, squeeze the sides together a little, like a taco.  Sometimes that makes it easier to see.

-Make sure your fingers are dry and the contact is wet.  You can put a drop of solution in the contact before you put it on your eye.

-Putting the contact on the sclera of the eye is easier because you won't see it coming at you.  (Also slide the contact to the sclera when you are taking it off to reduce your chances of scratching your cornea.)

-Be gentle but use enough force to get out bubbles that may be under the contact.

-Move your eye slowly.  Sometimes if you move it too quickly, the contact can pop out.

-If you have a hard time keeping your eye open, practice without a contact.  Just make sure you wash your hands and just touch the white part of your eye.

    -Keep trying!  You'll get it!

  3. You must get used to the foreign body in your eyeball. I have been wearing them for years and it was scary at first. When you have the lense on your finger, it is most important to make sure it is not inside out or it will not stick to your eyeball properly and it will hurt and slide around. There should be an "abc" or something on the lense to help you. Make sure the lense looks like a bowl while it is sitting on your index finger. Next, take the ring finger of that same hand that is holding the lense on the index finger and carefully pull down your lower lid with the ring finger while pointing your index finger and lense directly at your eyeball. Keeping your eyelid open, gently place your index finger on your eyeball for 3 to 5 seconds in order for the lense to stick. Slowly pull your finger away, and gently close your eye.  Should work. IF not, try, try, try again. Your eye needs to get used to the touch so it doesnt water up too much. After you get the hang of it, it will come as second nature. Dont give up! Practice at times when you are relaxed and not in a hurry and DONT STRESS because you will get frusterated! Good Luck!
