  1. I am a serious swimmer I am on a highschool team and i am in middle school, and i swim everyday for 4 1/2 hours even on weekends because i am part of the team, and all i wear are contact lenses, i don't swim without them. I have NEVER had a problem with them

  2. I think from a usage point of view, yes, you can wear contact lenses while swimming and you probably will not lose them or have them fall out.

However, from a care point of view, no, you shouldn't wear your lenses while swimming. There are a lot of chemicals and organisms in that water which can get onto your lenses. You should throw out the lenses after you swim in them (which i guess is OK if they're daily lenses, but of course you would not want to do this with the monthly kind.) At the very least, you would probably want to take them out and do a thorough clean and disinfect with a cleaning solution.

  3. yes. you can. i've worn contacts as a competitive swimmer and recreational swimmer since i got the 6 years ago. u'll be fine.

  4. If you do wear goggles - you should be fine.

However, if you don't, your contact can slip out, thus causing you to lost that contact lens.

  5. yea. never had a problem swimming or jumping out of planes with contacts

  6. I wear the normal brand of acuve.

I'm a lifeguard/swim teacher and i always have to open my eyes underwater.

I have never lost a contact.

The worst that happens though is that it moves and sticks,

    which is awfully uncomfortable.

    Googles sure don't hurt though.
