  1. Know your solutions. Solutions cannot always be mixed. Use products recommended by your doctor. so may the solution is not good type..

  2. No, you didn't leave them in the solution for too long - remember how they arrived in your hands? In those little packets of solution? Don't worry about that.

They'll seem really thin and hard to work with when they're still new. As you use them more, they'll become a bit more rigid and will cup easily on your finger when you pull them out of the solution.

For now, they're still really new so you have to kinda finagle them into a cupped form on your finger.

Contacts are great! Just takes some getting used to.

  3. No that's not too long at all.

What you first need to establish is what kind of 'solution' you have. You can get saline as well which is not really ideal for storing solution. But there are different types as far as I am aware.

Have a look at the solution bottle, that will state what it is suitable for... because some are only suitable for cleaning your lenses as opposed to storing... some solutions are suitable for all purposes such as cleaning as well as storing.

Also, you need to read whether the solution is suitable for your particular type of lenses.... because you can get soft lenses etc....

They are definitely not hard or less rigid when you first use them, as someone stated. They should be in the same condition they were when you first opened them from their original packaging. Also, how long have you had them? If they are monthly wears, they will expire in a month so throw them away.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN YOUR EYES IF THEY ARE STILL HARD. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR EYES.

  4. it's fine.

i do that a lot now, since i kept them in for like a month straight and my eyes swelled up.

    that was horribleeeee

  5. Im pretty sure they dont shrink unless you let them dry out, but they get hard then.

If you cant get them in get new ones.

  6. go back where you bought them and get new ones

  7. i'vw had contacts for about 1 year now and i did the same thing .. they will seem thinner and harder to work with  but it might be from you wearing them too. you have to break them in. i dont know if your eye doctor told you that or not.

it also depends on the soultion you use. try reading the label and see what it says. see how long it tells you to leave them in or if the is no limit.  but if you still feel that they dont feel right to you then you might want to go back to your eye doctor and talk to him/her about the situation.

  8. there shouldnt be any problem with leaving them in solution, because when they come in the package and theyre sitting in solution. If you can't put them in then go to the eye doc.

  9. no, maybe u shd change a pair of lenses

  10. are they disposables? or extended wear?
