  1. just go to your eye doctor.

all contacts are made with different prescriptions and stuff

13 year olds can wear and buy contacts, you just need an eye appointment to do it

im a big fan of the Acuvue brand

  2. I asked my mom if I could get contact lenses a few days ago, she asked my optometrist.  Apparently, it costs about 200$ for a years supply of contact lenses.  My mom said it also costs 30$ more for instructions, and the actual prescription.  But maybe that's just for me.  You can try finding the nearest glasses store, or your own, they should offer contact lenses.  If you have a prescription, you can get about a months supply of contacts at pharmacies or places with pharmacies, like a Walmart.  Monthly supplies range to about 15$-30$.

When you get contacts, your doctor should give you instructions for them, at first.  And I know many people under 13 that wear contact lenses, and put them on themselves.  You just need to be hygienic when using them, as you are able to risk getting any bacteria on them.

If you plan on getting contacts in which are for replacing your glasses, you would still need to have a prescription.  When you buy them over the counter, the people would still need to know exactly what level is your eye sight at in order to get a particular kind for you, and they need a prescription from an eye doctor to do so.

If you are talking about color contacts, that's a whole nother story.
