Contact lenses second day problems

Question

I just got my first contact lenses yesterday. It was pretty easy to put them on in the doctor's office and I could see great. That night I took them off after four hours, following instructions. Today though, when I put them on, I had a lot of trouble. When I finally put them on, my vision was blurry as if I weren't wearing contacts. So I took them off and let my eyes rest...and tried again later, with the same results. What's wrong?

You may be putting them on backwards. Make sure it looks more like a bowl than a U.
