  1. Ciba Focus Night and Day contacts do not require a special solution although you need to make sure to use a good solution (yes, there is a difference). Use Aquify (also made by Ciba), Opti-Free, or Complete. These are the newer solutions which are more compatible with the newer contact lens materials.

  2. Hey J man,   I am humbled by my error as I ranted about illiterates not using spell check---and duh, I NEVER DO because I am a medical transcriptionist and words are my forte, but type-o's at 2 in the AM come easy....btw- your question can be correctly answered by your ophthalmologist's assistant---the type of contacts you wear usually require only certain chemicals...so, I wouldn't try anything suggested without calling the doc.....I ruined 2 sets of new lenses by using the wrong solutions..........thanks.....

  3. Yes, it is okay, no, they don't make anything special.  They are still hydrophilic contacts, and regular all purpose saline/cleaning solution is what you need.  Didn't you ask the eye doctor who prescribed the lenes?

And don't leave them in over night.  They aren't really good for you to do that way.
