I was rubbing my eyes and slid my contact lense under my eyelid. I've been trying for about half an hour to get it down, but it wont budge.

Any ideas?

  1. Try applying large amount of eyedrop (3-6 drops) to the affected eye, just in case the contact are dry, which makes it more difficult to move around the eye. Usually after you have applied large amount of eyedrop, no matter where the contact are located, the contact will slide to the side where the eye meets the nose. Lift your eye lid and carefully search for the contact at the end of the eye where the eye meets the nose.

  2. douse your eye in eyedrops, over and over again.  Don't rub!! and blink a lot.  Try to relax your eye so your eye muscles aren't tense.  blink a lot but not fast.

  3. Go to the hospital, If it stays in there it may get infected.

  4. When that happened to me I was terrified. I went straight to the emergency room. They taught me what to do if it happened again Close your eyes , lightly put your  finger on your eyelid use very soft strokes  toward your iris, start at the top and siides of the eye and stroke toward the iris, the lens will pop right back onto the iris
