  1. Cheaper than glasses, and so much better, my girls got them at 10 and 12

  2. I use the Acuvue Oasis, i believe they cost about $30 a box of 6. Which one pair lasts for 1 month.

You most likely have different perscription's for both eye's so you will end up with 2 boxes that will be about $60 total. But those 2 boxes would last 6 months...so about $10 a month.

Most ppl buy every 6 months because they use one box for each eye.

And there is no permanent contacts, sorry. The closest is by spending a couple thousand dollars for Lasik Surgery! yikes...

    well, good luck!!!

  3. I use Freshlook Colorblends contacts. My prescription (for 6 months-12 sets of contacts) costs $130.

The average prescription can cost anywhere from $17-30 dollars per box (each individual box), depending on what kind/color.

You aren't forced to buy them continually. You can pay for one prescription and then never buy them again. The 1st prescription you get is only valid for 1 year, after that, you have to get another eye exam in order to buy more contacts, due to the fact that your vision may have gotten better/worse in the course of a year.

There is no permanent contacts currently available. Contacts have to be cleaned, and there would be no way to keep them sterile if you never took them out. Lasik Surgery is an option for a permanent solution, but it HURTS (so I've head) and it can have some nasty side effects.
