Contacts/Roller Coasters?

Okay, so i where contacts and as some of you know Cedar Point has some VERY high powered roller coasters, i was wondering if it would hurt my eyes wearing contacts while going on those roller coaster.

  1. Bad idea. Have you felt wind? It's like that, so if u can hadle a big gust u can handle that.


  2. I wear contacts, and I've never had a problem on a roller coaster. Last week, in fact, I was at an amusement park and rode the Superman roller coaster (which goes up to about 100mph), in the front car, and I was fine.

  3. you can do it, but because of the high winds- I wouldn't suggest it. Your eyes will dry out very quickly.

    If you do go with your contacts, get some contact-friendly eye drops and keep them with you to splash on after rides. Every grocery store with a pharmacy sells them- about 3-6$.

  4. i wear contacts as well and i think that you will be okay, but they may get a little dry from all the wind that will obviously be blowing in your face, so you might want to carry around some rewetting drops.

  5. I wear contacts too and have always worn them while going on roller coasters. I think you will be fine.
