Question:

Contacts Wear: Hmm....?

Well, I have had contacts for 9 months give or taker a week or two. Recently, and very recently, in the past week, when I put my contact lens on my right eye (it doesn't happen with my left) it gets all red, the blood vessels are all over the place, etc. When I take them off, they immediately go away.

Right now, there are just a few lood vessels, not even noticeable at all, and under my bottom eyelid, there are some blood vessel streaks or whatever.

I am just wondering what is wrong. I am too anxious for my appointment witht he eye doctor in a few hours, so I am asking here.

If you need a picture, here is one. With my contacts in, it looks exactly like this on the white part except not as bad on the right.

Just wondering. I clean them thouroughly every night, wash the case in hot water to clean it, and have used the same solution I have in the past and before this week or the last have never had any problems. Thanks.

  1. It could be many things. But you do need to see your doctor so they can find out, it is not as simple as just seeing your injury. I hope all is well...what did the doctor say? I am sure they got it figured out and you are fine, I am just curious.

  2. Go to your eye doctor immediately, that's not good!
