Can you get prescription contacts? Do they cost more? How much do they cost approx.?

Your intial consult with the optometrist is going to be the most expensive, he will fit you specifically for your eye. Your first pair is usually free, just to try them out and see if they fit. If you go to 1-800-Contacts you can get great deals ( sometimes around 25 dollars a box ) , each pack says to only wear for two weeks, but you can usually wear them about a month before changing them and youll be ok. Oh, the box contains approx 4-6 contacts in it. For each eye. So youll need a Left eye box and a Right eye box. So I would say between 40-70. Good luck!

yhhh. i recently got contact lenses and i went to the opticians to get them, the daily ones. i had to pay around £22 a month for them which is quite reasonable i think. if you want to get coloured prescribed ones then you have to pay a lil extra.

check it out with your optician. they'll tell you everything.
