Question:

Contacts burn/itch when i put them in?

i use this solution:

when i put my contacts in, they irritate my eyes so much that i have to take them out. i know i'm not putting them in inside out, and i clean them right before i put them in my eye. does this happen to anyone else? does anyone have any advice?

  1. well, sometimes when i put them in, a big old drop of solution inside the contact so i just shake it out then put it in so im not burning my eye

    or just keep blinking, after a couple of blinks the burning will subside

    or

    when you put them in it appears to be a "big wrinkle" on your contacts that cause this. happens to me all the time. just take it out and make sure you have enough room to put it in your eye and you're putting it on evenly


  2. You should be cleaning your contacts the night before you plan to use them and let them soak all night. In the morning you should be rinsing them very well before you put them in your eye. Also make sure you are cleaning your hands right before you are inserting your contacts to make sure your hands are not contaminated with dirt or anything else
