  1. Ok, if you want to get contacts, the color is up to you.  But a nice darker green might look good if you want to go for something that'll still look natural.

As far as getting colored contacts, there are some things you should know.

    1. You will have to get an eye exam and contact lense fitting the same as someone who does need prescription.  The eye exam because the doctor will insist on being sure you DON'T need prescription.  The contact lense fitting because contacts come in many different sizes and shapes and the doctor will have to determine which ones will suit your eyes correctly.  You will be charged full price for both exams.

    2. You will also be charged the same price for the contacts as the prescription ones.  This (I was told by my boss) is because the manufacturers charge the same, whether there is a prescription in them or not because most of their cost is in making the lense itself, not putting in the prescription.  Colored lenses are even more expensive than clear ones.  Last time I checked, they were exactly double the price.

Knowing these things, if you still decide to get the lenses, the doctor should explain to you how to keep them clean.  They will give you a trial size bottle of solution and a clean case the same day they give you your pair of trial lenses.  As far as how often you should replace them, the doctor will have to tell you this also.  This is because all lenses very in how long they are meant to be worn.  Freshlook colors are two week lenses, but there are also dailies, monthlies, and even 1 type is yearlies (I wouldn't recommend those).  Follow the doctors instructions and heed their warnings about sleeping in contacts or wearing them beyond their expiration date.  This is not them trying to get you to spend more money on new lenses, it actually DOES affect the health of your eyes.

    Hope I helped!
