Ok I got contacts for about 2 months ago and they were fine till today when I was at school A week ago thst clear white kinda looking thing was coming out of my eye(you know the things that come out when you sleeping and you wake up and there around your eye) Well like i was saying thats stuff was coming out and to day at school my eye was crying and was all red and it was just one eye i was mad cause it hurt so bad i through them away

I clean them every night and use drops and everything I don't know what wrong i am getting a new box

Do you think maybe this is happening cause of the pollen ????

  1. make sure you're rigorously hygenic when handling the contact lenses, but i think that jsut happens sometimes - you most likely got a little bit of something in your eye, which is always more sensitive to it when it has a contact lens in

    if this continues, go to your optometrist, but otherwise don't worry, it's just one of those things.  hope it turns out ok :)


  2. There could have been number of reasons. If you dont wash your hands before entering both of them you could have gotten bacteria in one eye. You also could have had them for to long simply causing this. There is also the factor that you could have caught pink eye from anyone.

    3.)severe infection

  4. How often are you supposed to change them?

    Could be pollen, but it's a bit early for that. Try going back to the glasses for a week, to give your eyes a rest, and resist rubbing your eyes.

    Also, check that your cleaning fluid is not contaminated. Buy a new bottle to be sure.
