Question:

Contacts in water??

the other day I put my contacts in water overnight as I ran out of contact solution. I bought some solution the next day and replaced the water with it. I know it's not good to store contacts in water, but after storing it in solution afterwards, would they be safe to wear?

  1. Probably not. And the reason being is because H2O and contact solution don't mix, or at least I have heard. I once did this as well and the next time I tried putting them on, upon opening the case, my contacts had broken apart. It's like a negative reaction. So just imagine, you could be wearing them and they can break apart inside your eye. That wouldn't be too nice.

  2. well yes..but make sure there not dried out or it wont give ur eyes enough oxygen
