  1. It has something to do with the pressure, not the water. Contacts aren't designed to be under so much pressure, so they tear.

  2. You can always get perscription goggles.

  3. Don't open your eyes underwater and you might be okay. You might loose them if you get a lot of water in your eyes. They feel different when you get the water on them and you will want to rub your eyes. Just try to pat them instead of rubbing them I have wore contacts for 16 years.

  4. DO NOT WEAR CONTACTS! cuz chlorine can be VERRY irritating and painful if it gets in ur eyes! and ESPECIALLY with contacts on! You may get pink eye or an infection! So take off your contacts and dont wear any glasses unless neseccary..like i mean wear ur glasses while ur walking but take them off when you go on water slides and what not, so you don't lose them!

  5. i think you can, but make sure your eyes are closed all the time under water!! the chlorine might react with the contact or something... you never know. i recommend just taking them out. better safe than sorry. unless you have really bad eye sight, and your "blind". cuz the chlorine may ruin your eye sight even moree....
