I am going to go to splish splash next week and i was wondering if the pool there are clean. Im going to wear my contacts cause im blind without it. I dont want to carry solution with me 24/7 so i was wondering since i tear a lot when i yawn, would it keep it moist? I dont want my contacts to fall out but i want them in without having 2 wear goggles. Should i rinse my contacts after every specific hour ? How can i keep em moist. Thank you!

  1. I swim with contacts just fine. First try with opening one eye underwater, then try the other. You dont even need goggles !! it doesnt go in your eyes because the contacts are basically blocking your pupil from water contact. theyre much neater than u think.

  2. It really depends on how long your going to go without the solution. Its not just a matter of keeping them moist, its also a matter of keeping them clean. My advice is to buy a little bottle of solution if you don't want to carry the big one around.

  3. ok.

    they might not come out.

but think about this:  theres gonna be how many people in any given pool.

and how many un-potty trained little kids.

and how many ppl with open sores.

or god knows what in that water.

    contacts absorb everything.

then release it back into your eye.

    i'd wear goggles.

  4. I wear my contacts when I swim, actually, I very rarely take them out - except to put in new ones. I can even open my eyes underwater and they stay in just fine. Just try it - I don't think you need to rinse your contacts out at all, unless you have dry eyes.
