Mirko Vucinic, former central striker of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, has gone on to comment on the impact that Antonio Conte has had on their play, following the expiration of his ban.
Antonio Conte finally made his presence in the technical area of the coaches following the lifting of the ban he was handed at the start of the summer from the Italian sporting authorities. The ban was handed out due to the allegations against the head coach
by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Carobbio-c13775, the former Siena player, who said that Conte had told the team that the matches had been fixed. The matches in question were Siena-Novara and Albinoleffe-Siena, and despite all the remaining players in the Robur squad disproving the allegations
of Carobbio, the head coach was sentenced to a ten month ban.
It was not until Conte and his lawyers appealed in CONI that the sentence was cut short by six months, leading the ban to be four months in length. The Turin outfit have done well in his presence, staying in the top spot of the Italian Serie A standings,
and having topped the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, knocking out the reigning European Champions out of the knockout rounds in the process.
Despite everything looking rosy in papers and statistics, there were many occasions when Juve were a shadow of the side that outplayed teams last year, and Vucinic has attested to that. He was quoted to have said that the former Bari head coach transmits
his energy to the team even when he is sitting on the bench.
He remarked that the aura presented by the young head coach was immense and infectious, and mentioned that it is a very positive aspect. He was quoted to have said:
“He transmits his anger and strength. When he’s on the bench, you can feel his presence.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mirko-Vucinic-c26024 scored the opening goal for the Turin giants, as they played at home against Atalanta, with the striker getting in behind the defence to slot the ball past the on rushing goal keeper of the Orobici in the opening 60 seconds of the match.
