Antonio Conte is delighted with the Serie A title for Juventus, and insists that the feeling is indescribable after the great achievement. However, he has urged his team to maintain their unbeaten status in the season, in order
complete a historic feat.
Juventus won their latest league game against Cagliari, and the victory coupled with AC Milan’s 4-2 defeat to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, confirmed their status as the Champions of the 2011-12 league season.
The Bianconeri manager insisted that the feeling of winning the prestigious title is beyond extraordinary and beggaring description. He added that everyone in the team is overwhelmed by the glee of the victory.
The Old Lady chief saluted his squad, who gave their absolutely all, and the fans for their unwavering support to the team. The manager also payed tribute to AC Milan, stating that they are a worthy opposition and a wonderful club.
He added that the success is made even more valuable by the fact that it came against a great adversary in the form of the Diavolo.
While talking to the press, the 42-year-old said:
“The sensations are something indescribable, fantastic, extraordinary. We are so happy to have achieved a super-extraordinary season. I thank the players who worked so hard, the fans who put themselves behind us 100 per cent and
I also tip my hat to Milan, who provided a huge challenge and are a great club. It’s even more satisfying to get the better of a side like that, as it was unexpected.”
Juventus finished their last two seasons at seventh place, and their push for the Scudetto this season was against gigantic odds.
Conte insisted that the slip-up against Lecce caused a bit of apprehension, but nothing can be taken away from the fact that they are Campioni d’Italia with a round to go, and remain unbeaten in the league after 37 matches.
The Old Lady manager insisted that the team must look to defend their unbeaten status in the last game, as it will earn them a truly historic season.
