Contemp. Christian songs?

Question

Alright, well im planning on singing for competition and i cant think of any really good powerful songs. The song should have a good christian message/theme to it.

Please list atleast 5 songs that you love including artist and song title. Oh and please dont name a christmas or easter song.

Why do they have to be contemporary?  There are some classic Christian songs that can bring down the house like How Great Thou Art and You'll Never Walk Alone and Amazing Grace.

well when i first read the question i was definately going to suggest [[Never Alone by Barlowgirl]] but then i read the note about the Meredith Andrews song, and went to listen to it, and i wasn't sure if that one might be too close to hers.. but you should check it and other songs by them out anyways.. you might like them..  best of luck to you!! :]

Look at "You Raise me up" by Josh Grobin... That is a beautiful song and very inspirational.
