Any ideas for a contemporary comedic puck-like (midsummer Puck) monologue?

  1. Ok...this is a toughie.  This piece may be way off the mark but you can look at it and see if it would work for you.  Look at Sabina from The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder.  It was written in 1942 so it falls under contemporary.  She has a long opening monologue you may be able to cut.  There are also parts throughout the play you could piece together.  She's saucy like Puck and strong willed.  Maybe it would work...
