Gianluigi Buffon, number one goalkeeper of Juventus, has gone on to welcome the presence of Antonio Conte on the bench and reiterated his importance to the team.
The head coach of the Turin giants has been absent from the bench and the half time talks of the Turin outfit, following his ban from those duties by the Italian sporting authorities. This ban was further recognised by UEFA and the ban was carried to the
Champions League group stages as well. This meant that the team would be looking to perform to the best of their abilities in the upcoming tournament and the team had to go through the first half of the competition courtesy of the assistant coaches of Antonio
Conte.
Having ensured progress to the knockout round for the Turin giants, the assistants of Conte have done their share of work, and now it is the time of the former Bari head coach to let everyone know what Juventus have been missing of late. His initial ban
of ten months was slashed by six months, and after carrying out a ban of four months, the former Siena head coach has to prove his worth to the cause of the Bianconeri outfit and he would be looking to stamp his authority on the tournaments they are competing
in.

fully prepared for the matches they play.
He also remarked on the match against Palermo, and stated that it was not the easiest of matches, and mentioned:
“Conte’s presence is very important, even before kick-off. He ensures nobody can step on to the field lacking concentration or motivation. That’s practically impossible with Antonio! We should’ve been more incisive with our attacks today, but winning is
what counts and we achieved that. The conditions were not helpful. Believe me, it is not as easy as it looks to be a goalkeeper in the rain when there are very few scoring opportunities, as you have to stay sharp.”
The Turin outfit retained top spot in the Lega with their victory over Palermo.
