We're not eligible for the Rose Bowl, but I have to be loyal to my alma mater, The University of North Carolina (we're more of a hoop school than football, though we have produced some pretty good pro football players)

My college team is not likely to be yours so I will not say it.  I come from a small school.  I like Wisconsin, however.  If Ohio State loses Wells, then Wisconsin becomes the favorite in the Big Ten.  Ohio State has to come to Camp Randall this year after all, and they usually don't play well there.  It is still early, but I think the Badgers are going to be a devastating team with a group of RBs that can just pound any team into submission.

Wisconsin wins the Big Ten and goes undefeated at home.  The rest of the schedule is fairly easy.  So Wisconsin goes undefeated through the year.  Hmm...

But will that be enough for a BCS championship bid?  I doubt it.  Strength of schedule will work against the Badgers.  So Wisconsin will go to the Rose Bowl.

And they will face...

USC.

USC will lose at least one game this year.  If they squeak past Ohio State, then they will probably lose to Arizona State or someone else.  I just don't see USC running the table.  I could see USC playing well all season and then losing to UCLA in the final game.  That's just USC for you.

And that will set up a terrible mismatch in the Rose Bowl.  Wisconsin's power and speed will dominate USC.  Wisconsin will finish the year undefeated.  If that happens, then Wisconsin should consider some tougher non-conference games in the future.
