I went with EF tours to europe a couple years ago ... i was slightly dissapointed because of the amount of "free time" we actually had... i've always wanted to go back however, but i never thought i would want to with EF again ... I was looking into Contiki, and they seem to be pretty good with leaving you a good amount of "free time" in cities. What about EF College Break? do they also give you lots of "free time"? even with the price differences and the situations about roundtrip airfare.... i would rather spend more money if it meant i got more free time to do what i please since i have already been to some destinations. thx

  1. I've gone on two EF college break tours. I've had my up's and down's with EF college break but all an all it hasn't been to bad.  I liked the fact that EF included the transportation in the cost of the trip. I also liked that they take you to and from the airports.   My friend travelled with both and he said he liked contiki better.  Mainly because you were in charge of getting to and from the airports.  When I went on their website they seemed to have good prices but if I remember correctly they do not include the price of your plane ticket.

But free time with EF, don't worry about that.  They give you plenty of that believe me.  And a lot of the times if they're offering a group dinner or something you can decide to not attend if you want to.
