Continental Airlines Question?

There are 40 seats left for a flight on Continental Airlines going from Pittsburgh to Newark on August 31, the day before labor day. I need to buy two tickets for me and my son for our vacation to Pittsburgh. However, I cannot order the tickets until Friday. Do you think tickets will still be available by Friday?

Yes, there will more than likely be seats still available on Friday.  I would be EXTREMELY surprised if there were not.  However, as mentioned above, there would be no way to know if you will be able to sit together when you book on Friday until you actually look at the seat map at that time.  The other issue is that the airfare may be significantly higher by Friday.  But again, there is no way to be sure until you book the trip.  Just keep your fingers crossed!  Regardless, you should not need to worry about the flight filling up between now and Friday.

yes. But its going to be difficult to say if you two could sit together, b/c buying tickets online requires you to pick your seats on your aircraft of the web.

Well Northwest does this, i dunno about Continental.
