Continental flight to new delhi?

my mom is traveling from la to new Delhi by continental. I had some question.

as far as baggage checking. will they check in from LA to new delhi or she has to re check in at EWR

no once they check and seal on LA means it will b re check after arrival on Delhi only, if it is a connecting flight of same airline. other wise it wil b r checked on where they get another flight
