Continuous heavy bleeding & Pain after a D&C & UPLIFT This normal?

I had a histoscopy or something, a D & Currete done along with a uterus UPLIFT procedure about 10 days ago and at first i just had a bit of spotting then nothing. Then on day 8 I all of sudden got very heavy bleeding with clots and bad pain on the right lower side (Not appendix) but only when I walk. The doctor said Its normal to get a little irregular bleeding afterwards from the D & C and I'm probably a bit bruised still inside from the laproscopy. BUT it just doesn't feel right to have to stay in bed for this long. I have a 2 yr as well but each time i try to walk around for more than 5 mins I'm crippled in pain. Does this sound normal? or should I get a second opinion??? (No Temp)

I would get a second opinion.  The puncture rate with D&Cs is actually a lot higher than you might think.  And of course drs have left things behind before.
