  1. my daughter does this every other month or every 3 months she skips the pills that start your period and just moves onto a new pack which makes her skip the period the doctor said this is fine to do every two or three months. you will still be protected as long as you keep taking the pills. You will not bleed. just take the ones you have now when you get to the pills that start your period skip those and go straight to a fresh pack of pills.

  2. You will need to clear it with your doctor first but it is possible. You should not do this very often though maybe about twice a year max. You will not bleed as you will not be not be having a break between packs and whilst taking the pill all you experience is a withdrawal bleed not a proper period. Hope this helps

  3. You can keep taking the active pills, however you may have a little bit of spotting.  Maybe you should look into the pills where you only get your period three or four times a year.

  4. All you have to do is not take the inactive pills, when your done with the active pills just start on your next pack.

  5. microlite is a pill I am not familiar with but with the combined pill it is safe to take 2 packs back to back, you will be protected and you should not bleed. The best person to talk to about this is a pharmacist as it is their line of expertese

  6. Both of your ideas will work. It isn't unsafe as long as you do this VERY infrequently. Like, no more than once a year! I messed my cycle up permanently by playing around with it way too much.
