  1. hahahahahah

    no babies for him

  2. Well now! The combined oral contraceptive (COC) pill contains two hormones - oestrogen and progestogen. The effects for you are to change your hormone balance so that you do not ovulate. That is, you do not release an egg (ovum) each month, so can't be impregnated.

The effect in a female rat of an unintentional oestrogen/progestogen overdose would be the same as in a human female - ie: breast tenderness, nausea and irregular bleeding. The breast tenderness will be difficult to check, but you can be alert to nausea (no problem really), or irregular bleeding (not a problem unless it's copious, in which case off to the Vet with her).

Keep your pills away from her in future!

What's her name btw? I think I'd call her Popper.

  3. Nah she'll be fine, science has been testing on rats for years. If three tablets could kill a rat they would never release it on the open market for us.

She won't be getting pregnant this cycle though.

  4. lol.. sorry but now you know, there will be no babys soon

  5. Not as much as it will affect you when you really need those three pills

  6. Hehe little naughty !!!!!

My rat is 3 and a half and spends her days snoozing and sitting by me :D

If you are worried you could ring your vets :D
