  1. Why not have the injection that last for 3 months and then if it's not right for you try something else.

  2. go to family planning, get the depo  injection. or get a watch with an alarm and set it for the pill. that sucks tho as you can forget or you are out and forgot it or something, depo is easiest..

  3. I'm 16, and condoms have been doing it for me, but no you do not need a parent to get the pill, you can call the nearest clinic and they will give you a number and an appointment, it's all confidential

  4. first off if their is any doubt you might forget the pill don't waste your time go for the shot maybe even the patch. i have tried the pill and never make it pass the first month because i always forget. I have tried the alarm on the cell but that is not always reliable if say the battery dies or whatever. and if you skip some many day you are kinda taking that chance of thinking well i am on the pill it might still work but then find out it did not when you knocked up. My friend uses the ring and she loves it and swears by it... also i don't take anything now because like your sister it messes up my system i am like on a period for the whole time i take it ever several months after wards BUT your not me or your sister so that does not mean the same thing will happen to you, Alot of females uses this stuff and it works out fine for them. So just try it if it messes up get off and start all over again with something else ,

  5. I am fifteen and on the pill! it's not that hard to remember. If you usually have a meal or something at the same time of day, take it then. And always have a condom!

  6. heya hun, i went on the pill at 14 due to horrible periods.

i had my mom with me at the time but im unsure if u defo need permission.

i would book an appointment with your gp, ask about the injection, u cant 4get 2 take it then.

but i would recommend the pill, jus set an alarm on your phone for 8pm or somthing, or take it at a time when ur fave tv prog comes on, as long as its 1 a day the time isnt too important, i think the guidlines mean dont take 1 a t 2am and another at 2pm u kno.

also good thing about the pill is u can regulate ur periods, i.e if u have a holiday booked and ur 7 day break is due then (period) just carry on taking the pill and you wont bleed. i loved it.

but i would discuss all options with ur gp or family planing clinic. and always use condoms due top stis but its worth being protected yourself as condoms can split (its rare, happend to me though)

    good luck hunni xxxxxx

  7. At fifteen you should be paying attention to school work and dollies.  s*x should not interest you until you are grown up, say about twenty five.

  8. You wont like my answer at all. No s*x. You are too young.  If I had to choose a contraceptive for you to prevent pregnancy, after I had your boyfriend arrested for statutory rape, would be condoms.  You are too young to put medicines into your body such as the pill, implants or injections. Most other devices use hormones and such that your body should not have to go through. Remember that no method is 100% so unless you want to risk getting pregnant, please wait to have s*x.

  9. If you give a rat's *** about not getting pregnant you will remember to take that pill!

  10. I was on the pill when I was your age! I always set a timer and later when got my cell phone, I would set that to remind me everday to take it at the same time! Good luck!

  11. You don't need permission from your mum. Doctors and sexual health clinics provide free contraceptives to teenagers who need it.

  12. Until you have a regular partner you would be better off relying on condoms to protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. Especially if you don't have a very good memory to take the pill.

If you are in the UK yes you can get the pill at your age without your parents consent or knowledge.

  13. A combination of condoms and birth control pills is the best. There are clinics where you can get them without parent permission. Just look them up for your city.

  14. it brakes my heart to hear this as if you were buying clothes, you have only stoped playing with toys now you think its grown up to have s*x. its not just about the pill its about aides as well, in this country it has doubled in the last few years, it kills you. if you dont want a decent life with a future then carry on, get pregant watch the bloke you slept with run away with someone else, while your stuck at home, watch your friends finish education when the only job you can get is Mcdonalds. if your going to play at being an adult then try and act like one, its not a game, iwatch a film about abortion and how the embrio is torn into bits and flushed down a toilet. sorry life is cruel.

  15. i dont think you would need your mothers permission but it will probably be a good thing to let her know what your wanting to do.

implamon is a nightmare as your sister said i had the same probs like she did .. theres a new pill thats just been released im not to sure on what its called but it cuts your period time in half as well as help other issues many young ladies have like depression pms etc you should question your doctor about this one

and if your mum gets worried about you "sexually" when u tell her bout the pill just let her know its more so you can keep track of your period more often.

  16. im not sure exactually what age you have to be for your parents not to know, but if you are old enough, go for it.  If you can't remember to take, the pill, then I dont think you should because missing it is just like not taking it at all.  On the other hand it may make you more responsible if you can commit to taking it.  All in all its your decision and you should do what you think is best for you, even if you have to try more than one thing, you should find what will work best for you.

  17. id say pill is best if its your first contraceptive, implanons are a nightmare!?

  18. Yea i'd say the pill. It's pretty important so forgetting it should be quite hard.

If not set a timer or something when you need to take it.

You yourself have already answered this, but anyone else?

    Thankyou.

  19. The only reason I can think of for taking a contraceptive is that a person wants to have s*x without having children. That sounds a bit selfish...just doing something for pleasure without any responsibility.
