Contract phone, when will it be connected?

it arrived yesterday but still hasnt connected and were it should say o2 it say limited service. should i leave the phone turned off to connect or turn it on? iv left it off all day yesterday and all night but still isnt working. it says in the booklet that it will automatically be connected within 24 hours of the delivery date but its still not working!

you should phone them and ask them and tell them about problem.

You should really be connected, unless you ordered the phone from a third party like Carphone Warehouse (not sure what happens if you do that).

Every time I bought direct from O2 I was on the network right away. Last year I got a T-mobile contract from the shop, and it was connected when I got home.

When I got a replacement SIM they told me to leave the phone off while it connects but she hinted it does not really matter. If it is still not connected, I agree, phone the operator. Or send it back!
