Contractor board license

i want to get a license as a contractor for floor installation and lamination but i dont know where to get more information to study for the license. can someone help me out. thanks ps: i was told the license is called a contractor board license.

The Contractor's license will be a State license and you may be required to obtain a local business. Local business license will be at your County Clerk. Contractors license, search your state licensing in your particular state. Use Google. It will tell you the requirements and how much the license costs. After you find out state requirements, search for websites that you can buy a book or teach you the questions they are going to ask.
