Contractor workin with SPT ! HELP ?

Question

i am a contractor working with SPT (strathclyde partenership for transport ) and my boss didnt put me through for my PTS card . and it has now caught up with him after working there for 3 or 4 months , SPT are starting to ask questions as he hs been signing me in as one person one night then another person the next , so SPT have now issued the cards with pictures on it and i didnt have a card and i wasnt on the list . i was wanting to know what is the law on this is it serious or will my boss or i get let of with a warning ?????
