Contrast ratio??

Question

is a 1100:1 contrast ration good on a 32 in lcd tv for gaming or just watching tv???

if it's the proper contrast ratio and not the dynamic version then yes it's reasonable...since some of the cheaper ones are only 400:1 the better ones are 2000:1, so you're looking at a mid range really...just try to clarify wether it is dynamic or not, because dynamic ratio means jack s**t.

Personally I wouldn't be that bothered when it came to gaming but would want a better one for tv, but thats purely down to the individual.
