"Control Room is a 2004 documentary film about Al Jazeera and its relations with the US Central Command (CENTCOM), as well as the other news organizations that covered the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Made by Egyptian-American filmmaker Jehane Noujaim, the film was distributed by Magnolia Pictures (owned by 2929 Entertainment)."

For those who have watched this film, how does your view of Al Jeezera differ? What are your observations about the popular US media and your access to other points of views?

  1. I've not seen it yet. I would definitely encourage people to watch Aljazeera, they cover topics not even covered by other main stream media.

    It's time to drop the hype and propaganda & learn what really is going on around the world.

    Alternative view is necessary!

    President Bush was about to Bomb Aljazeera during the war BUT Prime minister Tony Blair talked him out of it. Somebody in Britain leaked the confidential documents.

    That says it all!
