  1. Kawasaki uses power orchestras in the KX125 so be care full

  2. 125's aren't all that powerful so that won't be an issue. I wouldn't be surprised to see you making a post in the near future that reads "Why do I keep fouling spark plugs". That is the biggest issue with having a 125 or 85 2 stroke as your first bike. You have to keep them wound up pretty good or the plug will foul.

  3. i started riding a 125 in 6th grade an i couldnt have weighed more than 100 lbs, i dont think you should have any issue with the power

  4. As you can see from my avatar, I ride one. You do not need to worry about being thrown off the back. Once you begin to ride it, you will gradually get used to the power and it will seem like nothing.

  5. You will have no problems with the kx125.  With the kx125 the powerband comes in smooth and not like a lightbulb.  My son raced a kx125 at A grade level for a couple of years.  At the time he was only about 5ft 5 tall and weighed 46kilos which is about as light as you can get.  So you will be fine!

  6. You get used to it really fast, I mean, I only ride a YZ85, so there's a little bit of a difference.  But just make sure that you slowly ease the throttle, because if you give it too much gas at once, it will surely throw you off.  You can't control it really, but I mean, you have to just get into the powerband a little bit at a time, make sure, especially if it is your first time on a 2-stroke to keep your weight towards the front of the bike so you don't pop a wheelie.   But most of all, relax, and don't worry about it too much, just have fun riding.

  7. Powerban ? You mean band I take it.

It just take practice, they are short and quick so be careful to start.
