Has anyone ever used controlled crying on their babies to teach them to go to sleep by themselves? I am at the moment. My daughter is 14 weeks, would like to hear others stories and how long it took. Thanks in advance

  1. Thanks for ruining my night. A 3 month old? Learning to sleep by themselves? What is wrong with you? Be a mother and help your baby sleep.

Don't ask a question on Yahoo Answers, especially on controversial subject, and not expect judgment.

  2. You do realize your baby is 3 months old, right? And that the baby can't walk. Or talk. Do you really think the baby can control when it cries? Three-month-olds barely realize that their heads are attached to their body and that they can control their arms and legs.

  3. That's definitely not a good idea for a baby that young.  Personally, I wouldn't do it at any age, but absolutely not at 3 months old.

  4. I would not do it at 3 months..well I don't know if I would do it at all ever..a baby is a baby and need their mommy.

  5. Aside from the fact that I do not believe in letting a baby cry it out, 3 months is much too young. You are a parent, youre job is to take care of your baby when he/she needs you and they are too young right now to let you know they need something.
