Question:

Controlling Computer by another Computer?

I want a program that will give me the opportunity to control the computer of my brother. As if I am really the one who is using the computer. Our room is different so I want to monitor what he is opening in his computer. For example "If he opens Internet Explorer and I wanted to close it, I will just press the X Button in my window without him knowing. As if it will look like the Internet Explorer auto closed itself." I need a free program that will automatically open when the computer starts up and will tell to my computer that everything is ready.

Please help me.

  1. Try setting up a remote desktop connection.

  2. Well, your request is basically spying, so don't be surprised when he get's mad at you.

    VNC will do this:

    http://www.realvnc.com

However it will put an icon in his system tray, and any of your mouse movements will be sent to his PC, so to him it will appear as if the mouse moved and closed the window. He will also not be able to move his mouse while yours is over the remote controlling window.

Instead of using the mouse, you could also send an alt command and hit F4 to accomplish closing a window. Actually pressing alt+F4 on your PC will simply close the VNC window.
