Controversy Olympic Torch in China????

Can someone please tell me what is going on??

Just 2 paragraphs on what is happening and what did China do to cause such an uproar?

I agree with Stephen and Pav. Also the reason we have to boycott the Olympics because people evidently don't listen to what is going on in the world unless you go after the Olympics.

How can you not know? Have you never heard of the Dahlia Lama? Didnt you ever wonder why he is in exile from his country? Do schools teach nothing now days? Are people just watching junk tv? This really worries me.

China is the 2nd biggest hypocrite on earth, after the USA. It has won the right to hold the next Olympic Games. It at the same time is silencing its citizens by censoring the Internet, radio, television and other venues. They also are slaughtering some of earth's finest souls in Tibet, with total impunity.

Bullies should not be allowed to showcase how cool they are. The people of the world know this, and so...will not allow a "business as usual" Olympics to whitewash reality. Those who are blocking, dousing and stealing the torch each day are heroes, and I personally am thankful to see this initiative and courage, beyond words. I will not buy products from any sponsor of the Olympics, because if China can get away with butchery, the human race has become a disgrace. The silence of Churches, Schools and businesses is unforgivable. I urge ALL in the path of the torch to block it, by whatever means necessary. Come on, people...show your mettle.
