Controversy around QB Peyton Manning’s return to Colts starts haunting owner Jim Irsay -  NFL News
More Indianapolis Colts’ owner, Jim Irsay, seeks an escape from the lingering controversy of the quarterback (QB), Peyton Manning’s recovery and return to Colts, harder it rides on his nerves, and the issue apparently has completely overshadowed the owners’
so called rebuilding of his team.
Irsay has sacked all his managers and coaching staff, who included head coach, Jim Caldwell, and has replaced them with new hirings; the question around the Peyton’s future at Colts keeps coming after him with ever increasing intensity.
The owner’s talk of leading his team through a phase of transition and rebuilding following their worst performance in the 2011 National Football League (NFL) season, has been overshadowed by the Manning’s controversy that has gained firm grounds as a result
of the consistent media profiling of the issue.
He has also been blamed openly for being responsible of the situation and the more he delays seeking a solution of it the more it becomes intensified and heightened.
Peyton’s agent, doctor, family, football players and fans have spoken of their concerns, respectively, about his future at Colts, who including the player himself desire him to continue to stay at the Indianapolis.
All the talk has apparently not influenced the owner on making an urgent decision on the future of the player with or without Colts. A final decision is set to determine the future course of the QB, clearing options in front of him.
Irsay has so far kept all cards of a possible solution to Manning’s issue of recovery and return closer his chest; leaving all the stakeholders and people who are directly or indirectly concerned about it, keep guessing.
Only assurance from him is that a final decision from the team management will be made on the basis of the player’s health and that so far both parties were enjoying a good relationship between them.
Following sacking of all the management and coaching staff, Irsay has done with hiring of new general manager, head coach and few assistant coaching officials, and in spite of his repetitive highlighting of these developments, Irsay is unable to divert the
media limelight from Peyton issue.
The issue has become the most-talked about news in the league, and probably none of other developments has taken as much media space and time as the QB’s recovery and return to Colts.
Irsay has found himself tangled in the controversy more often and is making himself available on his tweeter account busy in clearing the situation.
His self-convincing assurances of being attentive to the issue have not convinced any of the stakeholders and he still faces their demand of knowing his choice about Peyton Manning future. They are unlikely settle down until he comes out with an answer.
