  1. There is no food that will give your conure 100% of what it needs.  However there are some that come awful close.

In order to give your guy the best  diet possible you are going to want to give him a pellet formulated diet, not seed.  Seed if given reqularly can cause a lot of problems for our feathered friends; Obesity, liver and stomach problems, atheritus all sorts of stuff.  In the wild they do eat seed, However they need the protien and fat a lot more in the jungle than they do in our homes.

The best food that I have found is Harrison's.  They have it in two sizes, both for smaller and large hookbilled parrots.

You'll also want to give your feathered friend fruits and veggies at least twice a week. Brocochilli is top notch along with chilli for the vitamens and minerals they provide.  Also root vegtables are really great (yams, carrots, patatoes) as they have lots of Beta Carotine in them.  Things like mango, apples, papya, bannanas, wheat grass are also good for them.

If you don't want to have to go through the trouble of preparing food for them you could always buy Beak Apaptite instead and give that to them 2 or 3 times a week in addtion to the pellets.

As a side note, though I am sure you are aware, never give your Jenday chocolate, alvacodo, or salty foods.  Caffine should also be avoided.  Right now most vets are unsure weither onions are safe either, so they are best to be avoided or given in small amounts.

    Good luck!
